Privacy

Written from what the code actually does.

Last updated 8 September 2026.

The short version

This site has no account system, no sign-in, no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics or tracking. We do not ask you for personal information, and there is no form on this site that collects any.

No physiological data

Nothing here measures a biological signal. The BioIntensity value in the simulator is either a slider position you set or a synthetic number generated in your browser. It is not derived from you, it is not transmitted anywhere, and it is not stored after you leave the page.

Camera

The simulator works with a bundled scene and asks for no permissions. The camera is optional and requested only at the moment you choose it. If you allow it, frames are processed in your browser to draw the transformed image and are used for nothing else: they are not recorded, not stored and not uploaded. Stopping the camera or leaving the page ends that access. No microphone is ever requested.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes the network requests needed to serve pages, which involves your IP address and user agent in transit. We do not add our own analytics on top of that, and we do not build profiles from it.

The apps

The BioIntensity iOS and Android apps require no account and collect no physiological data. Saved looks and preferences are stored on your device only, and can be deleted from within the app. The apps’ store privacy disclosures state the same thing.
